AYM Doctoral Trainee Receives Graduate Outstanding Achievement Award

Congratulations to Dr. Mahdis Kamali on being awarded the Faculty of Health Sciences Graduate Programs Outstanding Achievement Award!

Mahdis Kamali recently completed her PhD in Health Research Methodology on the AYM team. This award recognizes her as a graduate student who has made outstanding achievements, and is given to no more than 5% of students in a Master’s or Doctoral program affiliated with the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University.

Please join us in congratulating Mahdis on this accomplishment, and in supporting her continued work to explore the inequities in mental health symptoms and access to care between migrant and non-migrant children and youth, and the socio-contextual factors that contribute to differences.
