The Advancing Mental Health (AYM) Research Team at the Offord Centre for Child Studies, led by Dr. Kathy Georgiades, is passionate about supporting our students and training the next generation of high-level researchers.
Opportunities are available for students to join our research team, including postdoctoral fellowships. Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunities
The AYM team is seeking a highly motivated, full-time postdoctoral fellow to join their inter-disciplinary team which is largely focused on designing, implementing and analyzing large-scale, epidemiologic studies of child and youth mental health, with the end goal of informing policies that will improve mental health and increase access to effective mental health care for all.

Applications will be reviewed quarterly, on the first of the month – January, April, July, October.
Candidate Requirements
Requirements include completion of PhD (prior to fellowship start date) in epidemiology, health research methodology, clinical psychology, applied quantitative methods or closely related field, and research experience in the areas of child and youth mental health and access to mental health care.
Successful candidates will have access to multiple, CIHR-funded population level, longitudinal studies of child and youth mental health for secondary analyses projects; co-design, implement and analyze emerging epidemiologic studies in the areas of child and youth mental health sciences; and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of academic researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and organizations serving children and youth within our community, provincially, nationally and internationally.
This is a one-year position; renewable up to two additional years. Remuneration is based on guidelines provided by McMaster University and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
