AYM Trainee Receives BHSc Summer Research Scholarship

Congratulations to Linda Duong for receiving a 2023-2024 BHSc Summer Research Scholarship for her work as an undergraduate research student on the AYM Team. This is Linda’s third year receiving this award.

Linda Duong is currently a research assistant on the AYM Team. Her work, supported by this funding, in collaboration with Dr. Nicole Dryburgh, will explore ways to improve measurement in school mental health care. Through focus groups with experts in the field and youth with lived experience, this project aims to co-create a protocol for Ontario schools that answers questions about what constructs are most meaningful in mental health care, which instruments are best suited to measure these constructs, when and how often these measures should be used, and how information from the measures be shared back to youth and clinicians.
