AYM Trainee Receives Ontario Graduate Scholarship

Congratulations to Ryan Miller for receiving a merit-based 2023-2024 Ontario Graduate Scholarship for his Master’s program in Health Research Methodology, beginning September 2023!

Ryan Miller is currently a research assistant on the AYM Team. His main area of interest is in the impacts of the social determinants of health, with a focus on economic determinants, and how they impact youth and their family’s health and well-being. His thesis topic will likely be examining longitudinal changes in children and youth’s functioning and their association with various social determinants from pre- to post- COVID-19 pandemic, using data from the 2019 and 2023 Canada Health Survey on Children and Youth.
